Surveying in the Snow!
While in the process of delivering a recent hotel portfolio, one of our surveyors stepped off of the plane and found himself in a peculiar situation. There was 2 feet of snow on the ground. We are often asked how we are able to find property corners and any improvements while performing a land survey when the snow is that deep. The major tool of choice at that point becomes a shovel. So that this site could be delivered on time, our surveyor found himself doing as much digging as surveying.
